World Refugee Day

Sponsored by the United Nations Refugee Agency, this event is held annually to show global support for people who have been forcibly displaced from their homes because of violent conflicts or natural disasters.

World Refugee Day brings into focus the need for deacons and priests to preach on the gospel mandate to welcome strangers and advocate for least of our brothers and sisters.
